About The Band

The band formed in 2005, although only Richard and Tim remain from its original line-up. We've gone through several changes over the years, but have always kept to our grass roots desire to play good music, to put on a great show and to have fun. Our current line-up has been together since May 2009 and is made up of:

 Richard Hesketh - Lead vocals/keyboards
 Chris Wynne - Lead guitar
 Tim Ellis - Bass/vocals
 Mark Rose - Drums
 Emma Davies - Vocals
 Cheryl Ashman - Sax

Even then a couple of us have changed roles over the years - Richard is a very good drummer (although sometimes a little "samey" - only joking Rich!) and has a great voice. It was a big decision for him to leave the high-hat and step forward in front of the mic. Now, you just can't shut him up! He is also one of the main lyricists for the band and has recently turned his hand to playing occasional keyboards to give some of our songs that extra depth.

After our original bass player left, we really struggled to find another. How hard can it be? In 2007, therefore, Tim traded in his Gibson Les Paul for a Byrns Byson bass and hasn't looked back since. (The Byson is massive and he's only a little fella). He also writes a lot of the Lost songs, and even perfoms lead vocals on one or two.

Chris joined in 2006 and (at the time) shared lead and rhythm guitar roles with Tim. He is now the sole lead guitar (although he can make it sound like two or three guitars at once) and after rehearsals likes to play spiralling lead riffs at full volume, whilst everyone else is packing up... We've kinda got used to it now....

Mark joined the band in early 2008 after putting an add on Gumtree. Prior to this he had never been in a band before, but you would never guess that from hearing him play! (Watch out for the impromptu Tico Torres drum solos in the middle of some of our songs. They even surprise us!)

Emma definitely adds a touch of glamour to the band. Her voice has a soulfull quality in the style of Joss Stone or Amy Lee yet she can really let it rip when the party hots up.

Cheryl is our newest addition, having joined us in May 2009. A very talented musician, her saxophone playing really brings many of the 80's classics to life. Her rendition of Baker Street certainly brings the house down!
